MMT Library COVID-19 Outbreak Update April 6, 2020

Updated April 6th, 2020

The Library closed to the public on Sunday, March 15.

The Library closed to the public at 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 14. By Governor’s Order libraries are one of many businesses and gathering places to remain closed until further notice.  All Library programs, classes and events are also cancelled including any scheduled public meetings.   For additional information, please follow updates on the Library’s website at: https://MMTLibrary.org

All library materials that are currently checked out by patrons will receive auto-renewals and no fines will be charged. We are instructing our patrons to hold onto any checked out Library materials for now and return them once the Library has reopened.  Book drops are locked and cannot accept materials during this time. Again, no late fees will be charged.  Holds on all physical items such as books and DVDs are being frozen, so patrons do not lose their spot in the Holds queue when we reopen. Patrons are not able to place any additional holds at this time.  Our Friends of the Library will not accept book/media donations during this period.  Please do not leave any returns or donations outside of the Library building.

The Library’s mission is to remain a resource for our residents.  We appreciate our patrons’ patience and understanding during this difficult time. If you have any further questions, please email the Library at info@jfpl.org.  Any updates will be on the Library’s website at: https://MMTLibrary.org.  We also post information and updates on our Facebook  and Twitter accounts.
