Join us for our newest film series, Directions. This collection of movies will feature biopics about famous movie directors and will be running every Thursday from September 14 – October 12, starting at 6:45pm.
The last film being shown in this series is “The Fabelmans.” This semi-autobiographical movie was written and directed by Steven Spielberg. “Loosely based on Spielberg’s childhood growing up in post-World War II era Arizona, from age seven to eighteen, a young man named Sammy Fabelman discovers a shattering family secret, and explores how the power of movies help us see the truth about each other and ourselves.” (Toronto International Film Festival)
Admission is free and films will be shown in the Library’s Meeting room in the lower level. Doors open half an hour before the film’s start and light refreshments will be served.
