Edward J. Larson, Hugh and Hazel Darling Chair in Law and University Professor of History at Pepperdine University, author of numerous articles and 14 books including the Pulitzer Prize winning Summer for the Gods, illuminates Ben Franklin and George Washington’s relationship with striking new detail and energy, and shows that their relationship was an intimate working relationship that amplified each other’s talents for the betterment of the country.
