7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This month our featured book will be “The Nickel Boys” by Colson Whitehead.
“Based on the history of a real reform school in Florida that operated for one hundred and eleven years and warped and destroyed the lives of thousands of children, The Nickel Boys is a devastating, driven narrative by a great American novelist whose work is essential to understanding the current reality of the United States.” (Goodreads).
For the Virtual Author Visit, we will meet in-person in the upstairs Gallery space from 7 – 8 pm, and watch the event together via Zoom. We will then have time for our own discussion of the novel.
Our Evening Book Club is open to one and all, whether or not you are a Morristown or Morris Township resident. Please feel free to join us even if you didn’t get a chance to finish the book. Copies of the book are reserved for Book Club members at the main circulation desk. Ask a librarian for a copy. If you have any questions about this book club, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Evening Book Club”.
We look forward to seeing you then!
