The Library’s popular “Book Lovers’ Circle” is online!
What is the “Book Lovers’ Circle,” you may ask? Participants of this long-running book club meet the first Thursday of each month to share about the books, good, bad, or indifferent, they are reading or have recently read. During the pandemic, we have been virtual. And our beloved Sue Lipstein, who created the group and had been leading it for almost 10 years, has retired and passed the reins to Louis Muñoz, one of our Reference Librarians. Whether under Sue or “Lou,” the Book Lovers’ Circle is a great way to find out about new titles, hear others’ recommendations and reviews, and spend a great hour together.
How do you attend online? We use Zoom for our meetings, which can be used via a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or a telephone. If you wish to download the Zoom app, you can do so from their website or else from your preferred device’s App Store. If you have any difficulty downloading the app, please email our Reference Desk for help at info@jfpl.org, or call (973) 538–6161.
Access for each program requires an access code. Please email our program presenter at louis.munoz@mmt.mainlib.org and include your full name and town of residence. Once on our Contacts List, you will receive access details of each meeting; if you have not received them by the day of the event, please contact Louis for that information.
We look forward to your joining us!
