“See You at San Diego” is a story of both pop culture nostalgia and modern fandom through the lens of the prehistory, history, and expansion of the largest pop culture gathering worldwide: Comic-Con. Once a small, niche event for comic book and science fiction “geeks,” Comic-Con is now the most prestigious pop culture convention in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans each year. Join us live in the Lower Level Meeting Room (not on Zoom) for a discussion of Mathew Klickstein’s book with award-winning author Caseen Gaines and hear them share their Comic-Con experiences as both professionals and fans.

Our Presenters: Journalist Mathew Klickstein is the author of “See You at San Diego” and many other books and articles, in addition to being a TV, film & theater writer and producer.
