New virtual “classics” book club – don’t worry – it isn’t high school English class!
Join us for the latest Virtual Classics Book Club on August 13. Feel free to login via your computer or call on your phone!
Join us in this session to discuss Go Tell It on the Mountain by James Baldwin. Have you read it in the past? Or do you just want to learn more about this classic novel and author?
For extra background on James Baldwin, Kanopy currently has two documentaries on Baldwin available to stream (free for Morristown & Morris Township library cardholders):
“James Baldwin: The Price of the Ticket” and “I Am Not Your Negro”.
Additionally, Kanopy also has a 1985 film adaptation of the novel starring Paul Winfield and Alfre Woodard.
