See France and Belgium on a “virtual cruise”!
Come and join Stephen Brunskill — one of our library’s reference librarians and an avid overseas traveler — as he shares two ports of call in France and Belgium from a 2019 North Sea cruise.
See Rouen, a bustling little medieval city where Joan of Arc burned at the stake ! And walk through the beautiful gardens of Giverny, the inspiration of Impressionist painter Claude Monet.
In Belgium, you’ll join on a boat tour through the intricate canals of Bruges – “the Venice of the North” — and tour through this charming town’s historical beauty!
How can you see these “virtual ports of call”? We are hosting this event through Zoom, so you can access it on a smartphone, online through most mobile devices, or on an internet-connected computer. For access info, please email Stephen.Brunskill@mmt.mainlib.
