Join us on September 30 at 7:00 pm for a Zoom program with local NJ poets Robin Rosen Chang and Tina Kelley. Robin Rosen Chang is the author of the full-length poetry collection, The Curator’s Notes (Terrapin Books, 2021). Her poems appear in Michigan Quarterly Review, Diode, The Cortland Review, Poet Lore, Valparaiso Poetry Review North American Review, Paterson Literary Review, Stillwater Review, and elsewhere. She was the recipient of the Oregon Poetry Association’s Fall 2018 Poets’ Choice Award, an honorable mention for Spoon River Poetry Review’s 2019 Editors’ Prize, and a 2021 Pushcart nominee. She has an MFA from the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College and lives in NJ where she teaches English as a Second Language. Tina Kelley grew up in Morristown and her 5th grade class performed Romeo & Juliet in the balcony of the previous Children’s Room of the MMT Library! Rise Wildly (CavanKerry Press, 2020) is her latest book of poetry joining Abloom & Awry, Precise, and The Gospel of Galore, a Washington State Book Award winner. She has co-authored the nonfiction books Breaking Barriers: How P-TECH Schools Create a Pathway from High School to College to Career and Almost Home: Helping Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope and she also reported for a decade for The New York Times.
