The National Society of Arts and Letters, New Jersey chapter is hosting noted artist W. Carl Burger who will talk about the different periods of his artwork as well as the future of the art profession in a digital world. Burger is an Abstract Expressionist painter who is still working at age 95 and has won numerous awards for his work throughout his long and storied career as a painter and educator at Kean University.

Burger’s much-loved work is in the collections of the New Jersey State Museum, the Noyes Museum of Art and the Butler Institute for Contemporary Art. He is known around Morristown for his work with the Morris Museum and his retrospective exhibits held there.
