Join us for a night highlighting the critical role that Black women played in the Civil Rights Movement in New Jersey. Hettie Williams, author of Georgia of the North, and a Monmouth University professor of history, will discuss the role of Black women in affecting civil rights legislation, legal equality, and integration, from the Great Migration to 1954.
