The library is pleased to participate in LatinX ConeXiones, an exploration of the arts and culture of Latinx artists and communities in Morris County presented by the Arts & Culture Collaborative. Events will include dance, fine arts & crafts, food, history, installations, literature, music, poetry, theater and other creative disciplines. As part of this collaboration and our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the library will feature three films from Latin America. This month’s feature: Rubén Blades Is Not My Name from Panama, a portrait of one of Latin America’s most important singer/songwriters. For more than half a decade, his songs have seeped into the collective consciousness, and soul, of Latin America. This film explores Rubén’s story, his legacy, and how he deals with being the man and legend he is.

All movies are subtitled in English. Light refreshments will be served.
This program supported by the Friends of the Library.
