Adding lace is a lovely way to add detail to just about any sewing project you can imagine. Attaching lace can add length to clothes, make a sleeve hem look special, add interest to the yoke of a top or the body of a dress or skirt–there are many possibilities. Lace insertion is a great stitching technique to learn! This program is a hands on demo where you will learn about different methods of inserting and attaching lace insets, applique, and hems. Embellish your clothes with lace borders or trims, or use purchased or self made appliques. We will demonstrate a variety of ways you can attach or insert lace trimming. All materials will be provided.
