We’re starting our latest John Kenrick lecture series on a nostalgic note, paying tribute to legendary entertainers who have recently passed away. Tonight we celebrate Jane Powell in “Royal Wedding”, one of her finest film roles. She starred with Fred Astaire who performed his famous “dancing on the ceiling” scene. This film is available on the Library’s Kanopy streaming service https://mmt.kanopy.com/video/royal-wedding or on DVD.
