Our book clubs had to go on hiatus during the pandemic, and even though the Library is not open for in-person programming yet, our book clubs are now online! Our Evening Book Club meets the third Thursday of the month, and our featured book for March 18 is “Educated” by Tara Westover, a coming-of-age memoir of a girl born in a survivalist family who did not attend school until she was 17. The New York Times Book Review named it one of the 10 best books of 2018.
How do you attend online, you may ask? We use Zoom, which can be used via telephone or through the Zoom app, downloadable from their website or from your preferred device’s App store.
To attend this book club, please email louis.munoz@mmt.mainlib.org and include in your email your full name and town of residence, as well as “Evening Book Club” in the Subject Line, to receive the access code and link to the meeting.
