See France and Belgium on a “virtual cruise”!

Come and join Stephen Brunskill — one of our library’s reference librarians and an avid overseas traveler — as he shares two ports of call in France and Belgium from a 2019 North Sea cruise.

See Rouen, a bustling little medieval city where Joan of Arc burned at the stake ! And walk through the beautiful gardens of Giverny, the inspiration of Impressionist painter Claude Monet.

In Belgium, you’ll join on a boat tour through the intricate canals of Bruges – “the Venice of the North” — and tour through this charming town’s historical beauty!

How can you see these “virtual ports of call”? We are hosting this event through Zoom, so you can access it on a smartphone, online through most mobile devices, or on an internet-connected computer. For access info, please email Stephen.Brunskill@mmt.mainlib.org, and include in your email your full name and town of residence to receive the access code and link to the meeting. If you have difficulty downloading the app, you can email our reference desk for help at info@jfpl.org
