Henri-Toulouse Lautrec was a Post-Impressionist artist who immersed himself in the colorful world of Parisian theatres, circuses, cabarets and brothels. An aristocrat with a rare form of dwarfism, he was more accepted by this cohort of society’s outsiders than he was by his peers. This program will explore his life story and his images of the demi-monde community.
Our presenter: Back by popular demand, Janet Mandel is a local educator and speaker on art history topics. PLEASE EMAIL refdesk@mmt.mainlib.org FOR THE ZOOM CODE.
