The reception celebration of the exhibit will be on May 9 at 7 p.m., in the F.M. Kirby Gallery, and will feature speakers and art presentations. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Morristown Alumnae Chapter has sponsored numerous activities designed to enrich and improve the lives of residents of the Morristown area.

A fingerprint is an impression left by the friction of ridges of a human finger. Human fingerprints are detailed, nearly unique, difficult to alter, and durable over the life of an individual, making them suitable as long-term markers of human identity. The Morristown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., invites you to “Red Print”, an exhibit of deliberate impressions through art and life.

The exhibit will feature historical photographs of African American women of Morristown. There will also be presentations of African American women educators who broke the barriers of racism and sexism to make major strides in the Morris School District.
