Career planning is an essential first step for students planning to attend college. Proper career planning can help focus their college experience, minimize unnecessary student loan debt, facilitate on-time graduation, and be a stepping stone to a purposeful and prosperous career. This workshop outlines the career planning process for students, the expected outcomes, how a career plan can improve the student’s confidence in their future and even provides an overview of the financial side of college planning.
