Nadia Owusu is a Brooklyn-based, award winning writer. Aftershocks is her first book and is a deeply felt memoir about the push and pull of belonging, the seismic emotional toll of family secrets, and the heart it takes to pull through, as young Nadia follows her father, a United Nations official, across Europe and Africa.
This event enables us to continue our tradition of connecting community through the power of the written word, while we simultaneously look forward to days ahead when we can safely resume our treasured in-person Festival. We hope you will join us!
