In this British classic, based on a play by Sir Terence Rattigan, an unpopular teacher at an English school is afflicted by poor health and an unfaithful wife. His interest in his pupils wanes as he looks towards retirement. Starring Sir Michael Redgrave and Jean Kent.

This film series is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The films are shown in the Library’s lower level Meeting Room. Doors open half hour before the film’s start. Light refreshments are served. Admission is free.
